Murray, Mahadeo, De Jesus put Skeldon, Rose Hall and Tucber to Quarter-finals
– Courtland and Bush Lot also through

Challengers all won their last 16 play-off matches and therefore advanced to the quarter-finals of the New Building Society Second Division 40-Over Cricket Competition in Berbice.
Sherwin Murray hit 62 to help Skeldon put on 199 for 5 in 35 Overs against Kennard’s Memorial. He came back and took 2 for 15 to see Kennard’s bowled out for 103 in reply.
Offspinner Shawn Jackman took 5 for 38 to help Scotsburg United bowl out Rose Hall Town Bakewell for 169 in 35.3 Overs. However, Rose Hall Town’s former Berbice Under-19 offspinner Khemraj Mahadeo in turn took 5 for 34 to see Scotsburg fall short by 39 runs.
After No. 64 Fighting Marine’s opening pacer Ramzan Subhan took 4 for 17 from 8 Overs to help restrict Tucber Park to 177 for 9 in 40 Overs. Tucber’s offspinner Keion De Jesus took 5 for 38 to assist in bowling out the Marines for 151.
In a hard-fought battle, Courtland All Stars bowled out Corriverton for 104 and they with medium pacer Clavern Beresford taking 4 for 17, they struggled to 105 for 8 in reply.
Tamarind Root of Hampshire posted 172 in 40-Overs but with Rajbance Hamraj leading the way with 46, Bush Lot Challengers went to win by 4 wickets.
D’Edward, Edinburgh and Young Warriors were the other teams to reach the quarter-finals earlier.

Scotsburg United 130 in 21.3 Overs with Kelvin Clarke 29, Khemraj Mahadeo 5 for 34 and Sherain Murray 2 for 30.
At No. 69, Tucber Park beat No. 64 Fighting Marines by 26 runs.
Tucber Park 177 for 9 in 40-Overs with Hakeem Hinds 32, Joel Seitaram 32, Ramzan Subhan 4 for 17 and Devendra Budhoo 2 for 22.
