A young Lima Sands resident has died from serious injuries he sustained after colliding with a cow several
weeks ago while heading home.
Traveal Green died early Sunday morning at a hospital in Georgetown where he was a patient. He had suffered internal injuries and broken bones. His breathing was initially affected.
According to reports, Green was riding his motorcycle to his Lima Sands home when he collided with a cow on “Pitch Road”, which leads into Lima Sands. Because of the desolate area, Green was not immediately rescued. The injured young man was later flown to a City hospital where he subsequently died.
Ever so often there have been many complaints by residents of the dangers of stray animals roaming the streets.
