South Turkeyen Sports Committee will be hosting a day of sports in honour of Johnny Barnwell on March 19 at the Ministry of Education ground starting at 09:00 hrs.
Among the events slated for the day are 6-over female softball cricket, male tapeball and softball as well as an 80m race.
At stake are trophies, medals and cash prizes donated by Ken Philips, Antartic Maintenance and repairs, Bans security office, Tent City and Trophy Stall.
Meanwhile, the committee’s day of sports that was scheduled for March 12 at GNS ground will now be held on a date to be announced.
