Dear Editor,
I am working at Security Alliance for five years and 8 months now. The problem that affects me has going on for years now and right now it is worse and management is not doing anything to solve it, and we the workers are feeling it.
I personally went to Labour and they told me, they can’t do anything. Now Security Alliance is an American form that provides security services to the United State Embassy and U.S clients at their homes.
Every day consist of 12 and 16 hours that workers have to work. We sign for 8 hours work. Due to shortages, these extra duty are being push on workers. Every day is one set of workers are working these extra duty; no one is not saying let’s relief this worker tonight because she would have work so much hours for the week.
The supervisor relief his or her friends .
A next thing is the company has us working strictly 07:00 hours to 15:00 hours to 23:00 hours shift. We are being bullied to work the shift. I want to know if overtime is compulsory?
Concerned employee
