Dear Editor,
Allow me the opportunity to highlight a few concerns that have been facing me as a NIS contributor for since 23 years ago. Let me first state that I had an accident whereby I fell and had broken my right foot on the 2nd of August last. As such I had to undergo surgery at the New Amsterdam hospital. However, when all is said and done I submitted my claims at the N/A NIS branch. I collected the first set of payments due to me for sickness benefit. I did not encounter any problem. Anyway I submitted some other claims on 25th of October 2015. On to this date, I have not received any sickness benefit from NIS. I am calling on the relevant authority to look into my situation.
