EBECC 50-over tourney commences tomorrow

The East Bank Essequibo Cricket Committee 50-over tournament is set to commence tomorrow with Parika hosting Zeelugt in day/night affair starting at 14:00 hrs.
Tuschen South Side, Hype Park, Vergenoegen, Tuschen A, Tuschen B and Parika SC are the other teams participating, while matches will be played at Vergenoegen, Tuschen and Zeelugt.
Teams are asked to be at the Parika ground before 12:00hrs to facilitate the march past which will take place at 13:00 hrs. The winning team will receive a trophy and $200,000.
Trinidad and Tobago artiste Hitman, Slingerz family 71 Sound DJ, DJ Amtrax and X Factor dancers will provide entertainment after the game at the Parika ground.
The competition is being sponsored by Two Brothers Service Station, Toto Stone Depot, Gulf Motor Oil, Two Brothers Pure Ice, X Beer, E Networks, Medicare Pharmacy, Fargo General Store and Parika Travelers Lounge, Double Day rentals and First Choice Waters.
The final will be contested on April 23 at Parika.
