The distraught father of a missing teenage boy is begging his son, who has been missing for over 72
hours, to return home.
Eustace Hunt Sr. of Lot 40 Liverpool, Corentyne, Berbice recalled that he last saw his son, Eustace Hunt Jr., last week Tuesday at their home. Hunt Sr. related that the next morning when he made checks around the home for his son, he discovered that he was missing.
An emotional Eustace Hunt Sr. said that following the young man’s disappearance he found a note in his son’s handwriting. He said in the note his son threatened to take his own life if anyone tries to find him. According to the father, his son also stated in the note that he was not feeling loved.
The day before his son vanished, the father recalled that he and the fifth form student had a misunderstanding over him not coming home from school for lunch that day.
Eustace Hunt Sr. stated that he thought that he and his son had worked things out since they had watched television together the same night.
The man disclosed that he has been receiving several phone calls from persons about sightings of his son in Georgetown.
Eustace Hunt Sr. is pleading with his son to return home to work things out. The 16-year-old is expected to write the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) in a few months. The matter has since been reported to the Whim Police Station.
However, the father is asking persons with information that could locate his son to contact him on telephone # (592) 694-3806 or 337-3205 or the nearest Police Station.
