Barbados (Barbados Today)- Two men charged in connection with Wednesday’s six million dollar
drug bust at Carlisle Bay, have been remanded to prison until March 31.
Guyanese national, Neville Hillary Phagu, 39, and Barbadian Jeffrey Harrington Callender, 48, of Coral Land, Haggatt Hall, St Michael, appeared in the District A Magistrates Court yesterday morning.
They were represented by attorneys Satcha Kissoon and Romain Marshall.
They were jointly charged with possession of cocaine, possession with intent to supply cocaine, trafficking cocaine, possession of cannabis, possession with intent to supply cannabis, and trafficking cannabis.
Phagu was additionally charged with importation of cocaine and importation of cannabis.
Police seized one boat, 122.9 kg of cocaine and 94 kg of cannabis during the operation.
