Entries for KMTC Phagwah race meet close tomorrow

Kennard Memorial Turf Club will be hosting their Phagwah Race Meet on March 13 at Bush Lot Farm, Corentyne, Berbice and entries close tomorrow, Sunday March 6th.
These races will be run under the rules of the Guyana Horse Racing Authority and owners of horses must pay at least $5,000 for each horse at the time of entry.
Registration can be done through Roopnarine Matadial on 325-3192, Ivan Dipnarine on 331-0316, Cecil Kennard on 623-7609 or 226-1399, Fazal Habibulla on 657-7010 or Dennis DeRoop on 640-6396.
Several races are carded for the day with the main event being D1 and lower W/A which carries a first prize of $700,000. Other races on the tins are L and lower for a top purse of $100,000, H 1 and lower which will see the winner taking home $240,000, K and lower in which the victor will pocket $120,000, G1 and lower for a first prize of $280,000 and J 1 and  lower, the winner will take home $160,000.
