Linden is reporting a few suspected cases of the Zika virus. These cases were said to be detected at the Linden Hospital Complex.
Chairman of the Regional Democratic Council Health Committee, Dr. Gregory Harris, at the Council’s monthly statutory meeting on Thursday in the RDC Boardroom said that on Tuesday there were a few suspected cases of the Zika Virus.
Dr. Harris said two might be positive because they have all the symptoms. “Two of them could be positive because they have the rash, red eyes, fever and all.”
According to Dr. Harris tests were sent to Georgetown for further testing. He noted they are awaiting the results.
