Nuff people crying. Some of dem just lose a son, a boyfriend or a husband. No matter how bad somebody bad, dem always got somebody who love dem. That is why some people eyes red. Two nights ago dem boys warn dem same prisoners about setting fire in dem cell. Dem boys tell dem prisoners that every day bucket going to de well one day its bottom gun drop out. Dem prisoners didn’t listen.
But life strange. When de country use to hang people de prisoners use to behave demself. In fact, when dem behave bad de prison people use to fly de trap door and de whole place use to get quiet.
Now it look like if death is no problem because dem same prisoners light up de cell just like if dem was cooking. And indeed nuff cooking tek place because by de time dem prison officers out de fire dem find people who look like if dem was bar-b-q.
De smoke barely die down and Rohee blame de government. He seh that Soulja Bai must tek full responsibility. He, Rohee, put dem prisoners in jail, he lock dem up, he shorten dem food and he is de one who mek dem get vex. Suh dem boys want to know how come he blaming somebody else fuh what he do. Is de same passion wha dem prisoners had since Rohee time that mek dem set fire inside de jail.
Perhaps he want tell Soulja Bai that is he people send in de match wha dem use to start de fire. One thing is certain, Brassington certainly not coming back home, not even to collect de pay that Li’l Joe was giving him.
Ash Deonarine not coming home too. He deh in Canada but he telling people that he gone to de States. Dem boys glad that dem can see wha dem going and meet because of de bad things dem do.
Talk half and say a prayer fuh all who test hell fire Thursday in de Camp Street jail.
