Vegae Boyz Football Club launches with election of office bearers today

At around 10:00hrs this morning, the West Demerara Football Association (WDFA) will incorporate another affiliate into its fold when officials of the Vegae Boyz Football Club convene for their inaugural meeting that aspires to elect office bearers to conduct their affairs.
Activities will be conducted at the club’s headquarters, 3-4 Vergenoegen, East Bank Essequibo and commences with opening prayers and welcoming remarks by Pastor L. Holder. Brother L. Williams will then deliver a short history pertaining to the club and its formation just before Reverend E. Nedd delivers the charge.
Officials have also indicated that a representative of the Guyana Football Federation (GFF) would be in attendance and he/she will also deliver brief remarks. Another official of the WDFA is also designated to deliver brief remarks just before the affiliates elect office bearers.
Pastor O. Stewart will then deliver the vote of thanks before officials bring the curtains down on activities.
