Police open computer training center at Leonora
The Guyana Police Force continues to provide avenues for its ranks to be properly trained in the technological era, with the Force’s Divisional Command hierarchy playing a lead role.

Last week the Force, through Divisional Commander Stephen Mansell, provided a shot in the arm in the information technology area by opening a computer training centre at the Leonora Recreational Hall.
The centre will go a long way in enabling police ranks to improve their computer skills and in some cases learn the basics of computer literacy.
Assistant Commissioner Christopher Griffith, who represented the Commissioner of Police at the official opening of the centre, congratulated the Commander and urge ranks to make full use of the center.
On Monday last a six week computer training programme commenced. The programme is held between
16:00 hours to 18:00 hours on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
