Brassington been out and drink wid de boys in Miami on Friday night. He went to a place called Kaieteur Restaurant and Bar. As usual, he stuff eeself like a pig; then he go home. He drop to sleep next to he wife who is friends wid dem boys.
Everybody know Brassington run and lef 19 lawsuit against dem boys. He see de Guyana iron bars and run. He seh he nah coming back at all when he see wha de new Hambassador, Holloway give Rum Jattan. Was proppa handcuffs wha Brassington can’t get he hands and foot out of.
According to he wife, he wake up Saturday morning. He sure he deh before the Pearly Gates, where St. Peter said, ‘You died in your sleep, Brazzy.’
Brazzy shock. ‘I dead? No, I can’t be! I’ve gat too much to live for. All that money I tek from Guyana got to spend. Send me back!’
St. Peter said, ‘Ah sorry, but only one way you can guh back, and that is as a chicken.’
Brazzy get dizzy but ee beg St Peter fuh send ee to a farm near wheh he live.
De next thing he know, he full of feathers, clucking and picking the ground.
A fowl cock from Essequibo strolled past. ‘So, you’re the new hen, huh? How’s your first day here?’
‘Not bad,’ replied Brazzy, de hen.
‘But I have this strange feeling inside me. Like I’m going to explode!’

‘Well, just relax and let it happen. It’s no big deal.’ Suh Brazzy relax and a few uncomfortable seconds later,
out came an egg!
He cry as emotion full he up. He soon lay another egg – and he was full of even more pride.
As he was about to lay his third egg, he feel one slap to de back of his head, and heard…..
“Brazzy, wake up! You sh**t de bed!”
