Half Mile Bulls, winners of the recent Malta Supreme Open Christmas basketball championship, are now the number one ranked club in Linden.

The Linden Amateur Basketball Association has announced that the rankings of the six Division-One clubs at the beginning of this year. The clubs are number one ranked Half Mile Bulls who won the Malta Supreme Open Christmas basketball championship to take the top spot from second placed Retrieve Raiders, who lost to the Bulls in that Malta Supreme tournament and are the second ranked team.
Third are the Victory Valley Royals who captured the third spot after the other losing semifinalists, Amelia’s Ward Jets, who while failing to battle for the third spot, are ranked fourth, while fifth are Block 22 Flames and sixth the Bankers Trust Falcons.
The Bulls received their top prizes inclusive of the $100,000 and trophies and replicas, while their power forward Travin Dryden was the Most Valuable Player, when beverage giants Banks DIH held its Shareholders Meeting in Linden recently.
The Retrieve Raiders copped $75,000 and the second placed trophy and replicas, while Royals also received $25,000 from Managing Director George McDonald.
