The Mobile Wizard 10/10 Softball Cricket tournament organized by the Guyana Softball League will culminate at the Tuschen Ground with the Semi Finals and finals on the 7th February. The teams in the semis are Wolf’s Warriors,
Omesh XI, Speedboat SC and the surprise of this stage Power XI.
The fixtures, which were done by drawing, will see Speedboat SC taking on Power XI and the teams will be chosen from the following players:
Speedboat SC will come from: Greg Singh (Capt.), Shazim Hussain, Wazeer Hussain, Wasim Sundar, Ganesh Narine, Kishore Smith, Cornelius Jaisingh, Imran Hamid, Anand Bharat, Rajendra Kuraf, Romel Lakha, Lennox Marks, Kishan Ramlochan, Bepaul Bandu, Peter Aladin.
Power XI: Jaipaul Singh( Capt), Heraman Sooknanan, Naresh Dhanraj, Gersham Sookmangal, Indarjeet Mangal, Richard Sookhoo, Aaron Deodas, Mahendra Chakravorti, Rajnauth Sooknanan, Steve Singh, Inshan Ali, Amarnauth Sooknanan, Ravi Laldeo, Danny Hint.

The first match of the day will see a Masters encounter between West Coast Blazers who will be led by Orville Blacks and East Bank Masters Team by Shafeek Mohamed.
The second match is an exhibition between Leguan Superstars and a West Coast XI.
The third match will see the first encounter of the Semis with Speed Boat SC going against Power XI.
The fourth Match will see the second semifinal between Wolf’s Warriors and Omesh XI.
The fifth match will see an exhibition involving Linden rural community champions Wiruni Female Team coming up against Well Woman XI, the Georgetown champions.
One ball Manto will be done between matches for a top prize of $60,000 dollars in prizes along with T shirts and others compliments of Miss Love (West Coast) Trading and Mobile Wizards.
The FINALS will complete the day in terms of the cricket.
The man of the day will enjoy a Footstool Pouf, compliments of Rohan Furniture Establishment along with USD$50.
The Caribbean Voice with whom Guyana Softball League is partnering for several programmes will be there to sensitize all on suicide awareness as part of the efforts to highlight some of the negatives affecting all communities.
The evening goes on a chutney show featuring Pooran Seeraj and Prince JP along with the dancers as well as Granny Ivelaw and many others will take over as the after cricket show begins at 6.30 pm. The music will be in the hands of Slingerz and Sandella One man band. A well stocked bar and bar-b-que will add to the happenings. Sponsors Mobile Wizard will be present providing a range of services to customers.
