Southern Systems out of the United States of America and owned by Guyanese Karl Moore made a timely donation of a quantity of basketball equipment to North Ruimveldt Multilateral School on Mandela Avenue recently.
Head Coach of the North Ruimveldt Multilateral School Dexter Douglas (2nd left) hands over the basketball equipment to a female student in the presence of fellow students and teachers recently.
The Company, which has been engaged in a number of benevolent undertakings here, acted on the request of Head Coach of the school team Dexter Douglas, who is a past student of the institution, but who has now volunteered his services to coach the students.
Douglas, who is a close associate of Moore, made the donation of equipment to the school during a simple handing over ceremony that was conducted, at the school’s facility recently.
In attendance were members of the basketball squad and teachers.
