GTC to hold Horserace Meet at Mocha on Sunday

The Georgetown Turf Club will be holding a grand one day Horserace Meeting on Sunday January 31 at the Mocha Race Track as the organisation look to return frequent competition to the venue.
Seven races are carded for the Meet and over $3Million in cash prizes and trophies are up for grabs.
The feature event is for J1 and Lower racehorses and most of most of the country’s top horses in this category will be in action.  The likes of Red Jet, Little Red, Regent, Liquid Lion, Plane Land, Blue Lighter, Noble Import, Miss Regena and others will compete for top honours.
Other Events on the card are the J3 and Lower, JK and Lower, the L1 and the L2 and Lower, the unclassified, the L3 and Cart horses.
The President of the Georgetown Turf Club Michael Sims is back in the Country and has already started working on the track and Grand Stand. He indicated that fans can look forward to events being staged at the venue.
Banks DIH Ltd, Choke Gas Station, Jumbo Jet Auto Sales, Sheriff Racing Stable, Davo’s Lumber Yard, BM Soat Auto Sales and others are on board as sponsors.
