Guyana Jaguars defeated Leeward Islands Hurricanes by seven wickets when the Regional

Consistent bowling by the Jaguars led by Romario Shepherd, who finished with 3-37 off 10 overs, restricted the Hurricanes to 171 all out in 49.2 overs after they decided to bat at St. Paul’s Sports Complex in St. Kitts.
Shepherd, who was named man-of-the-match, removed Shane Jeffers and Montcin Hodge both with out scoring as Hurricanes plunged to 8-2 before Chesney Hughes and Nkrumah Bonner added 46 for the third wicket. Veerasammy Permaul accounted for Hughes for 33, while Steven Jacobs had Bonner lbw for 18 to leave the score at 60-4.
However, Rahkeem Conrwall, who top scored with 35, along with Orlando Peters 24 and Jacques Taylor 18 propped up their total somewhat. Royston Crandon 2-1, Permaul 2-28 and Raymond Reifer 2-47 supported Shepherd.
Assad Fudadin and Vishaul Singh set the Jaguars on course with an opening stand of 65 before the former was dismissed for 27. Singh, who struck three fours off 99 balls, soon followed for 44, while Leon Johnson went for 13 with the score at 117-3. Johnson’s dismissal proved to be the last success for the Hurricanes as Shivnarine Chanderpaul and Raymond Refier saw their team home with an unbroken fourth wicket stand of 57. Chanderpaul fine run of from continued, the lefthander clobbered five fours off 85 balls to finish not out on 57, while Reifer made 16 as the Jaguars ended on 174-3 in 46.2 overs. Odean Brown claimed 2-31.

Jamaica Scorpions were bowled out for 173 in 46.5 overs in reply. Campbell scored 42, Andre Mc Carthy 33 and J. Harrison 22. Jonathan Carter picked up 3-26, Jomel Warrican 3-32, Sulieman Benn 2-26 and Ashley Nurse 2-36.

At Queen’s Park, Trinidad and Tobago beat ICC Americas by nine wickets. ICC Americas were skittled for 81 in 26 overs. Srimantha Wijeyeratne 30 and Timroy Allen 22 were the only bastmen that made double figures as Imran Khan grabbed 4-25, Akeal Hossein 2-6 and Riyad Emrit 2-19. Red Force replied with 84-1 in 12.5 overs. Kyle Hope scored 40 while Kjorn Ottley got 24 and Denesh Ramdin 18.
At Warner Park, CCC beat the Windwards by 91 runs. Windwards chasing 158 for victory were dismissed for 66 (22.6). Man of the Match Chemar Holder captured 5 wickets for 22 runs to lead the rout. Rouman Powell hit 71 for the CCC.
