Centenarian Gladstone Mack met Minister of Social Protection, Volda Lawrence, when she paid him a visit at his Sophia home.
The Minister presented him with a hamper.
The 104-year-old is the father of nine. He has 35 grandchildren, 80 great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
Born on October 31, 1911 in Aurora Village, Essequibo to parents who were farmers, Mr. Mack still enjoys watching television, especially the Judge Judy Show, and several religious programmes.
He was a steward in the Methodist Church in Essequibo for 25 years.
