The executives and staff of the Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) extend condolences to Guyana and West Indies player, Rajendra Chandrika, on the passing of his father earlier this week, the board informed via a press release.
It is never easy to lose a love one, especially a parent. Rajendra was very close to his father and looked up to him for guidance and support. We share his pain and grief and we extend our most heartfelt sympathies for his loss.
Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family during this difficult time and we wish him peace to bring comfort and courage to face the days ahead.
We also urge him to keep the memories of his father alive by continuing to progress in his cricket. His father was his biggest fan; so proud of his achievements. Remain committed to the sport and forge ahead in the future, the release stated.
