Led by Shawn Morgan and Mark Welch with 17 and 16 games respectively, TNT chalked up 77 games to capture the Faye Joseph free-entry dominoes title on Thursday night at Gaulding Place, South Ruimveldt.
FX finished second on 70 while Mix Up placed third with 66. William Sergeant and Samantha Vickery scored 14 apiece for FX while Mark Rodrigues got 16 and Ganesh Sankar 15 for Mix Up.
FX marked 70 games to win the semi final encounter ahead of TNT 67 and Scramblers on 60. Sevens Collymore led with 16 games while Sergeant got 14 for the victors. TNT was spearheaded by Trevor Smith and Ryan Boodhoo who made 16 games each while Basil Bradshaw scored 16 for Scramblers. TNT pocketed $70,000, FX $30,000 and Mix Up $20,000.
Meanwhile, Mark Wiltshire’s birth anniversary tournament will commence tomorrow at Dynasty Sports bar. Action gets underway at 19:00hrs and entrance is $10,000.
The winning team will take home a trophy and $150,000, runner up a trophy and $75,000, third place $35,000 and fourth $10,000. Prizes are subject to change.
