Yesterday at approximately 16:15hrs, a fire broke out on the grounds aback of the
National Communications Network (NCN) building.
According to an eye-witness, the fire was started by a man who had just finished cutting grass and had decided to burn what was left. The fire was unattended and spread unto the lawns of NCN.
The Guyana Fire Service was summoned and put out the fire in a matter of minutes.
NCN suffered no losses.
