Kaieteur News wishes to correct a statement published in an article in its January 3, 2016 edition, titled “Demerara Criminal Assizes review…Judges dispose of 41 criminal matters in October session”.
The article erroneously states that Justice Dawn Gregory had presided in the October session and completed one matter. However, the Judge had in fact continued sitting on matters from the June assizes and did not preside in the October Session as stated.
Kaieteur News sincerely apologizes for the error and any inconvenience caused.
