House lot scandal the Minister needs to investigate

Dear Editor,
I am sending a list of names of people who got houselots from the Governments in 1997. Out of 54 households only four Afro Guyanese were given lots.
Many Indians households who already had property were given houselots while people who need still have to do without. Housing Minister official, Harry Narine Nawbatt was told about it but he did nothing.
A certain man was responsible for collecting names of persons to get lots. He already had property but he gave himself and many of his relatives and friends too. Enclosed is a list of names of the people who got houselots.
The ones that are underlined already have property elsewhere and are living comfortable; some have lots in other government housing schemes. Please come and investigate this corruption and expose this scandal.
Through this letter, I am begging the Housing Minister to intervene.
This has happened in Craige Mile, Cove and John, East Coast Demerara. It is 18 years now and some of these people have not occupied their lots because some have sold their lots and others are waiting to sell at very high prices.
A certain man is selling his own for 6 million dollars when he paid $58,000 for it. I hope something will be done.
