The Little Diamond International Martial Arts Academy (LDIMAA) has closed the year 2015 on a very high note with the Academy becoming a member of the Kyokushin Schools of Karate Union Worldwide, ‘Shihan’ Nazim Yassim been a Life Member of that Union.
The Academy has just concluded the year with its final Exams and an Inter-Club ‘Bragging Rights’ Championships that was won by Enmore for the second time.
On November 12-14 twenty-five students took part in an Exam moving from one level to the next. Fourteen students from Enmore, nine from Wales and two from Parfait Harmony were successful in their exams.

Tristian Prince, Abhishek Lilman, Amber Lall, Laajwantie Sukhlall, Bhumashvanie Gangadin, Reenita Nandram, moved from 9th Kyu to 8th Kyu Yellow Belt:
Ephraim Lall, Aryan Ritlall, Haymant Gangadin, Bheemeshvanand Sukhlalland Ryan Ritlall moved from 8th Kyu to 7th Kyu Orange Belt
Samuel Fraser and Balram Harrichand moved from 6th Kyu to 5th Kyu Blue Belt, Joshua Bascombe, from Enmore, moved from Blue Belt to Brown Belt while Vikash Somwaru advanced to 3rd Kyu Brown belt.
Muneshwar Ganga (Wales) & Moses Ignatius (Parfait Harmony) moved to 2nd Kyu Brown belt while Ravi Samuroo and UmishaParasram of Enmore moved to 1st Kyu Brown belt.
Maranda Bennett, MarcellYassim and Tadious Edun of Wales and Marlon Ignatius (Parfait Haromny) moved from Brown Belt to 1st Dan Black Belt.
Kelvin Walcott (Enmore) and Parsuram Arjune (Wales) moved from 1st Dan to 2nd Dan Black Belt.
Shihan Nazim is happy with the progress that the Academy has made by accomplishing more than 90% of its programme planned for the year.
He was more elated that two new branches were opened by the Academy. They were opened in Belle West Canal number two (WBD) and in St. Cuthbert’s Mission, with the one of St. Cuthbert’s Mission.
Shihan Nazim looks forward to the New Year (2016) as he continues to share his knowledge with his students at the Academy.
