Sans Souci, SS Jaguars record victories

Sans Souci and Sans Souci Jaguars recorded victories when the Badri Prasad Memorial T20 competition continued recently in Wakenaam.
Sans Souci defeated Good Success by nine runs at the Wakenaam Community Centre ground. Batting first, Sans Souci scored 134-5 off their reduced quota of 15 overs. Wayne Osbourne struck 57 and Seon Venture hit 51; Vickram Ramnarine snared 3-24 while Imran Khan and Wazir Khan had one each. Good Success were limited to 125-6 in 15 overs. Imran Khan stroked 46, Tulsieram Ramadeen 30 and Wazir Khan 27. Kleon Maxwell and Keddernauth Naraine claimed two wickets each.
Sans Souci Jaguars overcame Maria’s Pleasure/Zeelandia by seven wickets at the said venue. Zeelandia/Maria’s Pleasure batted first and were bowled out for 74 in 17 overs. Ajay Ghansam made 15; Sanjay Jairam grabbed 4-19 and Dellon Osbourne 3-18.
Jaguars responded with 80-3 in nine overs with Imran Mohamed scoring 20 and Zameer Zaman 10 off two deliveries. The competition continues on tomorrow.
