Trophy Stall in Collaboration with the Soesdyke Cricket Group’s 10/10 Tapeball finals, semi-finals and third place play-off is set for Saturday December 19 at the Soesdyke Cricket ground under Lights.
The first semi-final is set to start at 13:00hrs with Rubis playing King’s XI, while the second semi-final between Airport XI Hillfoot XI is set to begin at 15:00hrs.
The third place play-off is scheduled for 18:00hrs with the Final being played under lights from 20:00hrs.
The winning team will collect $100,000 and Trophy, the runners-up $50,000 and a Trophy and the third placed team $25,000 and a trophy.
The MVP of the tournament will take home $20,000 and a Trophy, while the best bowler and batsman will each get $15,000 and a Trophy. The Man-of-the-Match receives $10,000 and a Trophy.
Meanwhile, in the Quarter finals which were played December 6, Hillfoot beat Friendship by 24 runs with Lanty Hinds (41*) and Ricky Seeamber taking 5-14 for the winners.
Kuru Kururu lost to Kings by seven wickets as Mike Mickel (3-21) and David Francis (36*) led Kings to victory.
Rubis defeated SVM with Jamal Hinkson (38*) spearheading Rubis to a nine wicket win while Airport, on the back of 39 from Nigel Hugh, defeated Sarah Johanna by 54 runs.
