Dear Editor,
Referring to SN 3rd December 2015. It is most interesting that Ralph Ramkarran can level these accusations against the PPP Government only now. However, I would to like to ask Ralph some simple questions.
1. When his office Cameron & Sheppard was the lawyer firm for MMA, was his office not “handpicked” for the job? Did he go through Procurement Council or Tender for the job? What about Guysuco? Isn’t it the same?
2. Did he not feel uncomfortable accepting salary from the PPP Government knowing that the PPP was corrupt?
3. From 1976 – 2012 he was in the Executive Council for the PPP, did he not know that he was sitting with a bunch of corrupt people? At the said time he was seeking to be presidential candidate for a party that is full of corrupt individuals?
4. When the PPP was in office, how did he feel about his legal practice accepting cases from the PPP? Did he not know that he was accepting corrupt and bad money? Did he go through the Procurement Committee in order to get those cases? Was it not a conflict of interest?
