Baseball course set for East Berbice on December 5

The Guyana Baseball League’s efforts to spread the great game will see its Level 1 Coaching Certification Course at Kildonan, East Berbice on Saturday 5th December, start time is 9:30am the league informed in a release.
The release noted that, The decision to hold this course was made following feedback of our very successful course held in Georgetown at the GCC ground on the 14th, November, many who wanted to participate were already committed to the graduation exercise at the University of Guyana.
The course is made possible by the kind sponsorship of JR’s Burgers, Electronics City and E-Networks Inc. and baseball bats were given to all participants from donations made by the sports charity Pitch in for Baseball and gloves donated by Roberto’s Kids, a baseball charitable organization which honors the life and work of the great Dominican player Roberto Clemente by continuing his commitment to social responsibility.
