Part of the action in this year’s Georgetown Zone of the Guinness ‘Greatest of the Streets’ Futsal Competition.
With the knockout phase drawing near, teams are beginning to position themselves for that stage in the Georgetown Zone of the Guinness ‘Greatest of the Streets’ Futsal Competition which resumes tonight, at Demerara’s Park, Banks DIH.
Eight more matches are scheduled for this evening and among the feature is West Front Road versus Alexander Village.
West Front Road will be relying on the services of Hubert Pedro, Michael Oie and Ola Pedro to secure a win for them, while Alexander Village’s chances of registering an upset will rely on how well Shem Porter and Leon Yaw combine.
Another encounter that should produce fireworks is the one between North Ruimveldt and Leopold Street.
North Ruimveldt will be depending on Nickosie Barker, Colin Daniels, Lenris Carrington, while Anthony Charles is a key player in Leopold’s quest for victory.
