The Guyana Amateur Basketball Federation (GABF) will be hosting an Antigua and Barbuda Men’s
All-Star Basketball Team during November 28 – December 3. The GABF has named a squad for the All-Star Basketball Challenge Series.
According to GABF President, Nigel Hinds, the Antiguan players are from their Men’s team that placed third in the 2015 Caribbean Basketball Confederation (CBC) Championships, held in the British Virgin Islands in June.
“Darcel Harris and Marlon Rodrigues will Coach the Guyana Men’s All-Star Basketball Team in their quest to outperform the Antigua and Barbuda All-Star Team,” Hinds said in a press release.
The Guyana All Star Team will be selected from the following squad:

Practice Sessions commence on Wednesday at Burnham Court. The game dates, start time and locations for the All Star Challenge Basketball Series between Antigua and Guyana are:
1. Saturday, November 28, Mackenzie Sports Club from 20:00 hrs
2. Sunday, November 29, Burnham Court from 20:00 hrs
3. Monday, November 30, Cliff Anderson Sports Hall from 21:00 hrs
4. Wednesday, December 2, Cliff Anderson Sports Hall from 21:00 hrs
Supporting games will be played before each of the feature games. The GABF is encouraging basketball fans to support their local basketball stars and team. Children Under-13 will be admitted free.
