In an effort to improve its service delivery to Insured Persons, the National Insurance Scheme (NIS) will be launching tomorrow its online programme which allows for the checking of Contribution Records.
The aim of the online access is to allow contributors who are normally required to visit NIS offices to obtain such information, to check their Contribution Record online and at their convenience.
Contributors would now also be able to query their Contribution Records online.
Finance Minister Winston Jordan is expected to deliver an address at this event. Additionally, the new chairman Dr. Surendra Persaud, and members of the National Insurance Board, will be making presentations regarding the way forward for the National Insurance Scheme.
