Police take youth empowerment project to Itaballi
Ranks of the Guyana Police Force in ‘F’ Division under the command of pro-active Commander, Senior Superintendent Ravindradat Budhram, are being utilsed to their fullest in keeping with the Police Force

The Mission of the Guyana Police Force and its Auxiliaries is to serve all citizens and communities of Guyana in a professional, pro-active and accountable manner.
To achieve they will work in partnership with communities, public agencies and private bodies to enhance and support an environment where all people are preventing crime and building a safer and secure Guyana.
To this end on Sunday last, Woman Corporal 17011 Denise Bourne of Itaballi Check Point, Mazaruni, Region Seven, successfully launched a ‘Block Making Project’ for the youths in the community.
The project which is spearheaded by members of the community will see 25 youths between the ages of 13 and 14, learning a life skill at their tender age, over a three weeks period.
The very group, which was formed by Commander Budhram earlier this year, has already benefited from courses in Arts and Craft and Embroidery.
