Are you tired of working or being at home all the time? Do you want to get away from your everyday life for a day and relax but just don’t know where to go or what to do?
Well, there is no need to worry any more or have a “semi-vacation” in your dreams at nights when you can have one in reality with Splashmin’s Resort, Eco-Adventure Park and Tours.
In a matter of days, the company will be introducing its one-day tour package which is guaranteed to take you to paradise and bring you back home in just a day.
All you need to do is get on the phone and start making arrangements.
The day will start with tourists being briefed a little on Guyanese’s history as they journey up the East Bank Demerara (EBD) roadway to the fun park which is located up the Soesdyke/Linden Highway. It is an approximately 45 minutes drive from the city and 15 minutes from the Cheddi Jagan International Airport.
At the resort, tourists will be offered a little snack before their exciting day gets started.
There is no need to walk with a change of clothes since the gift shop caters for all sizes and at prices that can suit your pocket.
For nature lovers, the day tour will be an unforgettable experience with lots of water activities, bird watching and hiking at the Eco-Adventure Park. Persons can also camp-out at the Eco-park for the night.
There will be a tour through the unique and extravagant villas located at the back of the resort and surrounded by the man-made sand beach which is washed by a mystical black water lake.
Also, on the agenda is lots of fun activities including cricket, volleyball, football, basketball, canoeing and jet boating.
The first half of the day will be spent at the resort and after a hearty lunch, the guests will be taken over to the eco-park where they can relax in a quiet and calm environment surrounded by trees, sand and water.
At the eco-resort, tourists can enjoy fishing and they can take advantage of an opportunity to showcase their cooking expertise by opting to Barbeque at the park.
The tour also caters for the “adventurous lovers” who can enjoy an evening of fine dining at the resort’s restaurant and then end the night in the honeymoon suite.
Also, wine lovers will get a chance to sample a variety of different local wines at the Pandama Retreat and Winery, located just a short distance from the resort.
As the day comes to an end, at least one person will get a chance to “win back” something from the company. It could be a night at the hotel or an evening at the restaurant.
General Manager for Splashmins, Pamela Manasseh said in an effort to make sure people are more aware of the resort and what it has to offer, a group of managers came up with the idea of offering day-tour packages.
She said that they will be looking forward to having tours daily and a total of nine persons will be catered for on each.
