Chetram Harry of #70 Village, Corentyne, Berbice was able to drive away with a Tacoma when the Demerara Distillers Limited (DDL) held its final drawing in the Ivanoff “Win a Tacoma” under the crown promotion.
The drawing was held on Friday October 30, 2015 at the DSL Cash and Carry location in Berbice in the presence of DDL’s Chief Internal Auditor.
Harry with only one entry in the promotion was surprised and overwhelmed when he learnt that his name was drawn. According to the winner he was not even planning to enter the promotion but was encouraged by his sister-in-law to do so.
A preliminary drawing was done to select 10 finalists from among 5,000 entries. Due to the overwhelming participation from Berbice, the finalists attended the grand drawing in that County.
