Needing to win by four clear goals, the Media suffered an embarrassing loss to exit the inaugural Banks Beer Inter-Ministry Futsal Competition folowing the completion of the preliminary phase on
Thursday night, at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall.
The Media that had promised so much went down 3-5 to New GPC and is now resigned to writing reports for the remaining duration of the tournament which resumes on Monday, at the same venue.
In one of the most exciting encounter of the evening, Barbers Association rebiunded from a 3-0 deficit to earn a draw in their clash against Bounty Farm Ltd.
Ministry of Health was 5-2 winners over GGMC, while M&CC eased past GTT by a 5-3 margin.
