Whenever Guyana set aside a week or a month to observe something that is when things go bad. For Fire Prevention Week dem does always get plenty fires. Couple houses does burn down. De Umana Yana nearly bun down during Fire Prevention Week. Dem manage to save it but it bun down anyway.
When is Road Safety Week, is sheer madness. Nuff people does die on de roads. This time dem decide to dedicate one whole month to road safety.
Dem boys want to know if de planners mad. De see wha does happen in one week yet dem decide to spread de occasion over one month. Soulja Bai nearly ketch fits. De first day a truck run over a pick up and injure eleven people. De dust barely settle when de news come that dem had a car accident and two people dead. By day clean two more people dead. Dem was friends and dem tek a car and go speeding.
Poor Soulja Bai, he tell some school children that he hope that nobody else ain’t dead. De words ain’t even come out he mouth good and a man decide that he gun race pun de public road. He crash and dead.
Dem boys seh that since de observation does cause de opposite then Soulja Bai should do wha de United Nations does do—designate a day or a week or a month fuh everything. For example dem should have a day for helping de rich. Put you pot pun de fire, all dem rich ones gun step out of line and de poor people gun help demselves.
Dem should also have National Truth Week. That is when everybody should talk de truth. Well dem boys know that de opposite gun happen. BaiShanLin already file to set up a sawmill. However, de truth is that all dem want to do is ship out de lumber.
When dem boys talk de last time, nuff people did vex. Is now when Soulja Bai and Moses find that dem lumber at stake that dem calling pun dem boys to help. Dem see how BaiShanLin trying to deprive de hardworking Guyanese, especially de women. By de time de company done is sheer short lumber gun lef in Guyana. And Soulja Bai still sitting back.
