Over two hundred persons including parents, children and teachers braved the humid conditions to participate in activities such as which included duck walk, blocks race, water race, tire race, late for school and musical chairs among others.
Parents were not left out as they too soaked in the competitive action by competing in the sack race, parent and child race and biscuit and juice race. Educational gifts and toys were distributed to all the children present, compliments of Lucky Dollar – Grove Store and the Lisa Variety Store.
Also, the Lucky Dollar – Grove Store mascot “LUCKY DOG” was on hand to add some extra excitement for the kids who were happy to have their photos taken with the mascot.
Other sponsors who contributed to make the day’s activity a resounding success were Demerara Distillers Limited (DDL), the many parents and guardians.
