Dear Editor,
All over Guyana, oversized signs not trees are being planted; signs that destroy the landscape with messages that could hardly be read. Pray, tell me, who Ok’ed these signs? The government says it is insisting on Public procurement tender processes. Was this followed here?
What do these signs cost and who’s funding this exercise? And how come it is all being done in collaboration with the same business that enjoyed the total monopoly of street signs with the previous Government including the infamous GWI sign in Linden?
Come clean, Mr Town Clerk, who’s cleaning up?
