Final arrangements for the staging of the 5rth Brusches’ Basketball Foundation Classic tournament will this afternoon be discussed when the Linden Amateur Basketball Association (LABA) meets with the organisers.
The LABA executive committee will accommodate the representatives of the biennial tournament primarily to discuss the rules and prizes at stake.
In addition the executives are to look at the plans for the rest of the year. The meeting at the Mackenzie Sports Club Lounge starts at 5.30pm and will be chaired by LABA President Larry Simon.
The Brusches’ Classic tournament bounces off Saturday at the Mackenzie Sports Club hard court and continues on Sunday. Other playing dates are October 27, 30 and 31st and the final is on November 7 at the MSC hard court.
