Henry Chase was this evening voted in as President of the Guyana Futsal Association last evening.
Chase secured seven of the eight votes to win against Otis James.
( L-R ) Mark Younge, Andrew Major, Kenrick Noel, NC Chairman Clinton Urling, General Secretary Diedre Davis and Rawle Adams.
Kenrick Noel will serve as first Vice president, second vice president Mark Younge and Andrew Major is the Treasurer. Rawle Adams was voted in as Secretary.
Guyana Football Federation (GFF) Normalisation Committee Chairman Clinton Urling believes that the newly elected body has a huge task ahead to bring the format of Futsal to an organised state.
Urling pledged the GFF’s support in helping the association get off the ground.
Noel, in the absence of Chase, said that Futsal Association and its executive will be eager to work together to help develop and expand the game.
