Rage marked 75 games to win the final of the Turning Point Dominoes competition which was
contested on Wednesday night at Turning Sports Club, Tucville. TNT placed second with 71 games while Rugged finished third on 69.
Lyall Gittens made the maximum 18 games while Cargail De Freitas scored 16 for the winners. Kanhai Samaroo chalked up 17 while Shawn Morgan made 16 for TNT; Martin Permaul and Andrew Young were Rugged leading players with 16 and 15 respectively.
Meanwhile, West Side Dominoes Club will be hosting a 20/20 tournament on Sunday at Foo’s Residence Best Road, West Coast Demerara. Entrance fee is $15,000. The winning team will receive a trophy and $90,000, runner up $30,000 and third place $20,000. Double six time is 14:00 hrs.
There will also be a King and Queen competition.
