A mixed 12-member Jury has found buggery accused, Kevin Jordan, guilty of sodomising a seven year- old boy. Jordan was charged with two counts of buggery.
The incidents are said to have occurred on November 2 and November 7, 2007. The trial was held in camera at the Georgetown High Court, before Justice Dawn Gregory. The accused was represented by Attorney- at -Law, Neil Boston. State Prosecutors, Stacey Goodings and Orinthia Schmidt presented the matter.
After hours of summing up and deliberations, yesterday the Jury announced that they had found the accused guilty of one count of the offence. He was found not guilty of the other count.
However, Attorney Boston requested that a probation report be conducted on the life of the accused, before sentencing. As such, the Judge adjourned the matter until October 30.
