The club that has produced the most Test cricketers in Berbice, Port Mourant, scored a massive 225 runs victory over the hapless Edinburgh in their last round match of the Bobby Deonarine and Tom Gruntzel sponsored Tenelec Inc round robin fifty overs first division cricket competition.
The match played at Edinburg ground on the East Bank of Berbice saw Port Mourant winning the toss and elected to take first strike in humid conditions and ended on 315 for the loss of 9 wickets off their allotted reduced quota of 45 overs. They were led to this massive total through

Mahendra Singh joined Ramsaroop and added a further 92 for the second wicket before Ramsaroop was bowled by national under-15 off spinner Nivendra Prashad for 39.
