The champions will pocket $100,000 and the Busta trophy while the runner-up team will walk away with $50,000 and a trophy.
Matches would spread across Ancient County with efforts being made to contest the final under lights at the Albion Community Center. Foster noted that the RHTY&SC would be using the matches to promote the Say No To Crime, Yes To Sport Message.
Management of the invited teams would be required to submit a 20-member squad to the organizing club via email [email protected] or drop off at the club’s office, Area ‘H’ Ground, Rose Hall Town.
Foster further informed that they would be organising various tournaments at the second division, under-15, 17 and 19 levels as part of its cricket development programme, but only teams who have committed management and the interest of Berbice cricket at heart would be invited.
