Movie theatre, family centre opens in Linden

After a hiatus of about 25 years a movie theatre, Game Arcade and Bar was opened at Doc Haynes Mall in Amelia’s Ward on Wednesday. The opening was preceded by a Church Service. The Theatre will offer its first show today when the mall will be opened.
Managing Director of Paradise Entertainment US-based Guyanese/Lindener, Lyndon Lamott, said that because there was no family entertainment in Linden, he decided to open such a facility to bring the whole family under one roof. “I wanted to ensure that the whole family enjoys the fun at the same time. Parents can dine or sit in the Bar, while their children are in the game arcade or in the theatre, if they don’t want to accompany their children in the theatre.”
According to Lamott, the bar will be stocked with wine and cocktails. He said the menu will be strictly wings in seven flavours – Cajun, Hot and Spicy, Bar B Que, Mild, Hot, Linden Girl, Sweet and Sour and Mango Avenera.
Lamott said that all prices will be affordable.
