The now beleaguered People’s Progressive Party has now found itself in a quandary as it struggles to find persons to represent it on the Region Six Democratic Council. Persons who were named to serve are refusing to be aligned with the party and are refusing to represent the party as RDC councilors. So far three persons have refused to take up their seats on the body.
Among those refusing to take up their seats although their names were mentioned are former Regional Vice Chairman Bhoopaul Jagroop; retired Regional Educational Officer Shafiran Bajhan and Pastor Qwesi Henry.
Some stated that they were never consulted and would not like to be a part of the party machinery.
