BriBac Management in Association with Bannas Foundation yesterday presented 33 children with backpacks and full complement of school supplies. This initiative started in 2003, and was the brainchild of Brian Backer.
Kevin Walcott, of Bannas Foundation, came onboard immediately. He used his community contacts to identify those most in need of assistance, drawn from the areas surrounding Meadowbrook Gardens.
This year’s grant was made possible with the support of West Indies cricketer, Leon Johnson, Steve’s Jewelry, PaperCraft, Hopkinson Mining, Impressions, Star Party Rental, CellSmart, and Swansea.
