Action in the GT Beer / Petra Organisation Futsal Competition continues tonight with four more matches at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall, starting from 19:00hrs. In the opening fixture, Alexander Village which will be led by the likes of Leon Yaw and Shem Porter takes on Globe Yard with Gordon Henry and Sherwin Grimes in their lineup.
In the game to follow, Festival City tackles Kitty Weavers and this encounter should provide some fireworks. Festival City is a very strong team and seems to be in ripping form with Eon Alleyne, Dwayne Lawrence and the experienced Solomon Austin expected to bear the brunt of their chances of a win, while Weavers’ quest for victory depends heavily on the performances of Sherwin Vincent, Nigel Denny and Travis Martin.
The Kacy John-led Agricola unit then square off against Queen Street of Tiger Bay. John is expected to receive support from Gordon Grant and Anthony Rollins, while Keoma Gravesande, James Meredith and Darren Harris will lead the charge for Queen Street.
The curtains come down with what is anticipated to be a blockbuster duel involving Albouystown and Sparta Boss. Marlon Nedd and Roy Cassou are the players who could pose a threat for Sparta Boss, but the East La Penitence-based side is a star-studded one possessing the likes of Travis Grant, Denis Edwards and Sheldon Shepherd.
